Reese Witherspoon Had the Perfect Reaction to a Reporter's 15,000-Word Dissertation on Legally Blonde

They say don't meet your heroes, but I have to disagree. After all, reporter Lucy Ford met Reese Witherspoon, and the exchange would make anyone's heart grow three sizes. While interviewing Reese, Oprah Winfrey, and Mindy Kaling for A Wrinkle in Time, Lucy took the opportunity to present Reese with her 15,000-word university dissertation on Legally Blonde and posted the footage on Twitter.

4 years ago I wrote my university dissertation on Legally Blonde, and I'm about to give it to @RWitherspoon herself. I may cry pic.twitter.com/AKKtH4BSw6

The moment I handed @RWitherspoon my 15,000 dissertation/love letter to Legally Blonde - and yes, it was scented. I blacked out somewhere between her taking it and Oprah saying 'wow' #WrinkleInTime pic.twitter.com/56XV8FElqV

"I actually wrote 15,000 words on you once," Lucy shared with Reese. "You can read it, you can burn it, you can clean your windows with it," she joked while Reese gave the most pure angelic reaction, because of course she would. While the pages weren't pink, Reese did have one question for Lucy: "Is it scented?" And in true Elle Woods fashion, Lucy had sprayed the pages with perfume beforehand.
