New Mom Cardi B Pulled Out of Bruno Mars's Tour, and His Response Was So Adorably Supportive

Cardi B is taking her motherhood duties very seriously — so seriously, in fact, that she made the "hard decision" to no longer join Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic Tour. The "Bodak Yellow" singer was set to guest star on the North American leg of Bruno's worldwide tour starting on Sept. 7, but after giving birth to her first child, Kulture, earlier this month, she's not feeling ready to leave her newborn behind just yet.

"I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically," she wrote in the announcement on social media. After admitting that she "underestimated this whole mommy thing," Cardi continued by writing, "Not only am I just not ready physically, I'm not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it's not healthy for her to be on the road." She added that she ultimately had to do "what's best for [herself] and [her] baby," also thanking Bruno for being "so supportive and understanding."

Merely five minutes after Cardi shared the news with her followers on social media, Bruno chimed in with his own encouraging message for her — and it's downright adorable. "Most important thing is you and your family's health. I know the fans will understand," he wrote, adding that she's "absolutely doing the right thing." The "Finesse" singer added a promise that he'd play her hit song "Bodak Yellow" every night of the tour to honor her. How sweet is that? Kudos to Cardi for being such a brave, badass mama and to Bruno for being such an understanding pal.
