Prince Harry Gave a Sweet Shout-Out to Meghan Markle and Their Baby in Invictus Games Speech

Prince Harry is going to be a dad! The famous royal and his wife, Meghan Markle, are in the midst of their 16-day tour of Australia, and naturally there's been plenty of buzz surrounding the parents-to-be. While giving a speech at the 2018 Invictus Games Opening Ceremony on Oct. 20, Harry thanked the crowd for their well-wishes during this special time.

"First of all, thank you for the welcome you have given Meghan and I over the last few days," he said. "I have been so proud to be able to introduce my wife to you and we have been so happy to be able to celebrate the personal joy of our newest addition with you all."

Aw! These games definitely hold a special place in Harry and Meghan's relationship, since it's where they made their public debut as a couple last year. While Harry's sentiments melted our hearts, it's likely Meghan got to hear them beforehand, since he rehearsed his speech for her earlier in the day. Check out more snaps from their night at the opening ceremonies ahead. We can't wait to hear what other baby details they drop along the rest of the tour.
