Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa Beam During First Appearance Since Welcoming Baby Rani

Kate Hudson is getting back to work just a month after giving birth to her third child, daughter Rani. On Wednesday, the actress participated in a panel with Michael Kors, NBC News's Natalie Morales, and The World Food Programme at the University of Los Angeles. Clad in a floral-print dress and heels, Kate looked radiant as she celebrated her new appointment as ambassador to the United Nation's food-assistance organization and marked her first public appearance since becoming a mom of three.

"As a mother, I understand the vital importance proper food and nutrition play in the life of a child," Kate said in a previous statement. "The work of the World Food Programme is so much more than just feeding people, it's about strengthening families, rebuilding communities, and ensuring everyone, everywhere has access to the food they need to not only survive, but thrive. After seeing their work first-hand, I'm sure that if we can get more people involved in this movement we really can move closer to a world with Zero Hunger."

Following the panel, Kate attended a special dinner with family and friends to celebrate the program. In addition to snapping a few photos with her "Pa" Kurt Russell, the actress also shared a sweet moment with her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa. The new parents were beaming as they smiled for the cameras from their table.

Baby Rani is Kate's first child with Danny, whom she has been dating since 2017. She is also mom to 14-year-old son Ryder Robinson and 7-year-old son Bingham Bellamy from previous relationships.
