The award show proposals just keep coming. Remember when the 2018 Emmy Awards were momentarily halted by director Glenn Weiss proposing to his girlfriend during his acceptance speech? Well, Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph tried to top the viral moment with their own surprise engagement during the 2019 Golden Globes. While presenting the award for best screenplay, Maya stopped to (very shakily) present Amy with an engagement ring, and the two proceeded to joke about how they shouldn't take attention away from the ensuing category.
