It's Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's First Outing This Year, and It Was Worth the Wait

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are back in our lives, or at least back to their royal duties for 2019. Though Meghan has been busy with her patronages over the past few days, we couldn't be happier to get a glimpse of the adorable couple as they attended their first royal engagement of 2019 as a couple.

On Monday morning, Harry and Meghan took a trip to Birkenhead, England, to visit local organizations and projects within the community. First, they stopped by Hamilton Square to see a new sculpture by Jim Whelan titled "Futility" that marks the 100th anniversary of poet Wilfred Owen's death. Their second stop was Number 7, a Feeding Birkenhead supermarket and cafe where Meghan and Harry chatted to locals while having tea and cake. From there they met with people at the Tomorrow's Women Wirral, an organization that supports vulnerable women. Their final stop was Hive Wirral Youth Zone, where they met young people who take part in community projects and watched a performance.

Ahead, get a look at all the sweet moments from Harry and Meghan's outing.
