After announcing her second pregnancy publicly on Christmas Day in 2012, Simpson welcomed her first son, Ace, with her husband on June 30, 2013, just 14 months after Maxwell.
Ace's middle name, Knute, comes from his dad's Swedish grandfather.
On his seventh birthday, Simpson shared a photo of Ace alongside a sweet message: "I cannot believe my boy is 7! This kiddo is amazing at everything!
