The Avengers Cast Meets Young Fans at Disneyland to Celebrate a Charity Donation

On April 5, a few stars of Avengers: Endgame took a trip to the happiest place on Earth for an important cause. Actors Robert Downey Jr., Brie Larson, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, and Jeremy Renner joined Disney CEO Bob Iger in celebrating a $5 million grant to benefit children's hospitals. The contribution includes both cash and toys that will be given to nonprofits that support children with critical illnesses. Disney will also give $1 million of the donation to Starlight Children's Foundation to help the organization provide better health care for young hospital patients.

The Avengers squad shared their excitement for the grant during an official ceremony. "The kids around the world and then their families and siblings who are going through these situations are the true heroes and the true inspiration for us," Chris said. Brie echoed the same sentiment, adding, "The kids that are here today are actually the ones that inspire us because you are the embodiment of what these characters are that we represent on screen."

The Marvel stars then joined a group of kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim and Garden Grove as they played with a new line of Avengers-themed toys and posed for a few adorable snapshots. Ahead, view photos of the cast sharing laughs and hugs with their young fans at the event!
