Prince Louis's Cute Trooping the Colour Outfit Is a Sweet Nod to His Dad and Prince Harry

Prince Louis had us wrapped around his tiny little fingers when he made his Trooping the Colour debut on Saturday — in his Uncle Harry's hand-me-downs, no less! The adorable 1-year-old royal waved his way right into our hearts on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, wearing a blue-and-white outfit that bore a striking resemblance to clothes Prince Harry and Prince William wore around the same age.

Harry wore the collared shirt and shorts during his second Trooping the Colour, as shown by a throwback photo from 1986. In the picture, he's held by Princess Anne, as his mother, Princess Diana, stands in the background. William also wore the outfit in 1984, when he departed an airplane with his father, Prince Charles.

This is far from the first time William and Kate Middleton's kids have been seen rewearing clothes from the royal wardrobes. Princess Charlotte sported a pair of Harry's shiny red shoes back in 2017 and Prince George made his own Buckingham balcony debut in an outfit previously worn by William. Hand-me-downs still run in the family, even if you're in line for the throne!
