Madonna Gets Into the Groove as She Celebrates Her 61st Birthday With an Epic Party

No one parties like Madonna, and the music legend reminded us of that during her 61st birthday party in NYC on Friday. The pop icon is preparing to start her Madame X tour — which kicks off on Sept. 12 — but took time during and after rehearsals to turn up with friends and some of her children, including 13-year-olds David and Mercy as well as 6-year-old twins Estere and Stelle. Madonna — who is also mom to 22-year-old daughter Lourdes and 19-year-old son Rocco — shared videos of her kids dancing backstage and wearing their own Madame X shirts in honor of the special occasion. Naturally, Madonna was also hyped up as she celebrated with her tour group, drinking and indulging in sweet treats.

Later, Madonna and her entourage hit up the Madame X bar in Greenwich where they kept the festivities going. Rocking a four-star general uniform with fishnets and retro shades, the birthday girl took some shots and sang along to Elton John's "Your Song" with the crowd.
