Rihanna's Crop Over Carnival appearance in August confirmed one thing: she invented feathers and the color pink.

This year, RiRi hosted her fifth annual Diamond Ball to benefit her charity Clara Lionel Foundation, which supports education and emergency response programs through projects, scholarships, health care, and grants. News source, "Her and Drake were talking for a while and were smiling and laughing. It seemed like a very pleasant interaction and they looked like they were having fun together as friends." Rihanna's cover story in Vogue's November issue was especially meaningful as she opened up about her social justice efforts. She revealed to the magazine that she turned down performing at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show to support Colin Kaepernick, who protested police brutality and racism during the National Anthem at his games in 2016.
