Meet Bayside High School's Newest Student — Josie Totah

It wasn't until Josie was watching Jazz Jennings, a transgender woman, go through a medical transition and learning about hormone replacement therapy on I Am Jazz that she knew that's what she had to do. In her essay, she opened up about how supportive and gracious her mom was toward her. It wasn't long after that she met with her pediatrician and got the ball rolling from there.
