Normani had the honor of meeting Beyoncé at Roc Nation's pre-Grammys brunch in 2018, and it was a moment she'll never forget. In an interview with Hot 97, Normani gushed about their meeting and why it was so special for her.
"They say never meet your idols, but I've heard nothing but great things and I knew that she would be amazing," Normani said. "I almost started crying . . . I was like, 'Ever since I was a little girl, I've looked up to you, especially me being an African American female in the entertainment industry. You make me feel like I can do absolutely anything.'"
