After meeting on the set of "One Tree Hill" in 2003, Murray and Bush quickly fell in love and even tied the knot in 2005. Unfortunately, the couple filed for divorce only five months later, though they continued to star on the show as tumultuous couple Lucas and Brooke until Murray's departure in 2009.

The former couple attempted to keep the peace on set following their divorce, but Bush told Cosmopolitan in January 2017 that the experience was pretty difficult, and "the trauma of [the breakup] was amplified by how public it became." Later, during a June 2018 appearance on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," Bush said the relationship was a mistake. "We were two stupid kids who had no business being in a relationship in the first place," she added.
