Thanks to Some Rule Breakers, We Got an Inside Look at the Star-Studded Met Gala

And just like that, another Met Gala has come and gone, and with it, a fresh batch of slightly chaotic celebrity selfies worth double-tapping. Each year, despite chairwoman Anna Wintour's unspoken no-phone rule, attendees find a way to sneak Instagram photos galore inside the exclusive fashion event, giving us behind-the-scenes peeks at what goes down after the red carpet concludes.

This time around, there weren't nearly as many attempts at re-creating the iconic bathroom selfies of years past, but we did get some unexpected run-ins. Lil Nas X was the undisputed selfie king, snapping pics with everyone from Billie Eilish to Timothée Chalamet while clad in his golden suit of armor.
