Twilight Costars Kristen Stewart and Rami Malek Reunited at the Oscars

The 2022 Vanity Fair Oscars party on March 27 led to a sweet reunion for Twilight fans. Kristen Stewart — who starred as Bella in the four films and was nominated Sunday night for best actress for her role in "Spencer" — posed for photos with friend and "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" costar Rami Malek.

On the red carpet outside the party, the duo took pictures and laughed together. Inside, they were snapped dancing and embracing. Stewart attended the award ceremony and party with her fiancée, Dylan Meyer.

This year's ceremony marked Stewart's first Oscar nomination, but Malek is an old pro at these events. He won the Oscar for best actor for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in 2018's "Bohemian Rhapsody," becoming the first actor of Egyptian heritage to win the award. During Sunday night's ceremony, he was on hand to introduce Billie Eilish's performance of "No Time to Die," the song from the movie of the same name. Malek stars in that movie as the terrorist Lyutsifer Safin.

In "Breaking Dawn: Part 2," Malek appears as Benjamin, a member of the Egyptian vampire coven who come to help the Cullens in their battle against the Volturi.

Twilight has been going through a little bit of a renaissance lately, with fans online gaining a new appreciation for the film series and books. Even Robert Pattinson, who famously didn't love the attention he got for playing broody hero Edward Cullen, said hating Twilight is boring now. When he found out "The Batman" costar Zoë Kravitz had never seen the movies, he said, "It's not even cool to be a hater anymore. That's so 2010."
