Prince George Makes His Wimbledon Debut With Prince William and Kate Middleton

Prince Louis may be the reigning king of pulling faces, but his big brother, Prince George, is coming for his crown. Usually, George appears to be most serious of Prince William and Kate Middleton's three children, leaving the adorable public antics to his little brother and sister, Princess Charlotte. However, it seems tennis brings out the little prince's competitive spirit, as evidenced by the photos from George's first time at Wimbledon.

On Sunday, the 8-year-old prince joined his mom and dad, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, in the royal box to watch the men's final between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios. While this marked George's first time attending the famed tennis tournament, his mom is a Wimbledon regular. Her attendance at Sunday's match marked her third time at Wimbledon this year alone — she also attended Saturday's women's finals where she presented trophies to the winners, and she and William were both in the royal box for Tuesday's men's singles quarterfinal match.

It seems George may be following in his mom's tennis-loving footsteps. Throughout his day at Wimbledon, George appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the game. From pointing out exciting moments to his parents to appearing to groan when the match wasn't going his way, the eldest Cambridge child was animated throughout the match. For their part, Kate and William seemed to be thrilled to see George getting so into the game.

Given his excitement, royal fans shouldn't be surprised to see George back at Wimbledon again next year. For now, check out the prince's best moments in the gallery ahead.
