Though Rivera and Zegler met while filming "West Side Story," they didn't confirm their relationship until Zegler shared a photo of the two on Instagram on Valentine's Day 2022. Their social media pages have been filled with tributes about each other since then — but they were hinting at their romance long before their confirmation.
Two months prior to going public, the couple teased their relationship on social media, showing that they spent Christmas together. "Spending christmas eve with a man i have never met before," Zegler joked alongside a series of Instagram pics featuring Rivera. "Maybe you know him, he seems pretty cool— like he could be the love child of iron man and john wick, idk though."
In March 2022, Zegler and Rivera attended the Oscars together, where the movie that brought them together was nominated for best picture. Their red carpet appearances would continue the following month when they stepped out for the Grammys.
In June 2022, it was announced that Zegler and Rivera would once again grace the big screen together when they were cast in Hunger Games prequel movie "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes."
Fast forward to spring 2023, Rivera was Zegler's date for the premiere of "Shazam! Fury of the Gods," and on Oct. 24, the pair attended the Time100 Next Gala together, where Zegler was one of the honorees.
