Simu Liu Could Totally Star in a Lord of the Rings Movie With His Spot-On Gollum Impression

Simu Liu gave us countless more reasons to love him during his appearance on The Tonight Show this week. After hilariously recounting his former job at Abercrombie & Fitch and showing off some smooth hip-hop dance moves alongside host Jimmy Fallon, the charming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings actor unleashed his go-to character impressions, which were somehow omitted from his upcoming Saturday Night Live hosting gig.

"You do these really cool pop culture celebrity impressions, and mine are not exactly that," Simu prefaced to Jimmy before launching into his imitations of the evil Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars and Gollum from the Lord of the Rings movies. He basically transformed into both creepy characters on the spot, nailing their distinctive voices to a T, much to Jimmy's delight.
