Amy Poehler joined Jack Black on stage at Tenacious D's third annual Festival Supreme on Saturday for an unexpected — but very welcome — rendition of Bette Midler's "The Rose." (You know, it's the one that goes, "Some say love, it is a river that drowns the tender reed . . . ") As you might expect, it's straight-up amazing. This isn't totally out of the blue, though. Poehler and Black go back a long way; they costarred in 2004's Envy and 2006's Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny. Maybe if this video racks up enough views, they'll appear in another movie together? Let's hope so.
