Watch: Tom Hanks Stars in a New Thriller, Based on a True Story

Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are at it again! The frequent collaborators (Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can, Band of Brothers) have a Cold War drama on the horizon, called Bridge of Spies, and the trailer has just been released. Hanks plays James B. Donovan, an ordinary insurance lawyer from Brooklyn, NY, who is handpicked by the government to negotiate the release of a captured American pilot. Amy Ryan plays his wife, alongside costars Alan Alda, Scott Shepherd, and Billy Magnussen. Lest you write this off as just another historical drama, you should know that not only is the story inspired by true events, but the script was also cowritten by Ethan Coen and Joel Coen.
