Exodus: Gods and Kings Trailer

Christian Bale and Ridley Scott's Biblical Tale Looks Pretty Rad

Are you ready for some biblically apocalyptic business to go down? Christian Bale is starring as Moses in Ridley Scott's epic Exodus: Gods and Kings, and he is looking good — as are the special effects — in the trailer. He's up against his childhood friend the Pharaoh Ramses (Joel Edgerton, sporting a lot of eyeliner) in the battle to free Egyptian slaves. If you know the tale about Moses, you know the story doesn't end there. It's Moses's job to rally a ton of people to flee before the plagues arrive, meaning he has some locusts to swat and a Red Sea to part, a little of which we actually get to see in this trailer. I'm digging the special effects, and I can't wait to see Aaron Paul as Joshua, plus more of Sigourney Weaver. The movie opens Dec. 12, and you can take a look at the full trailer now.
