David Bowie passed away on Jan. 10 after an 18-month battle with cancer, and ever since, there has been an outpouring of tributes from all around the world. This week, Saturday Night Live honored the music legend with a touching tribute by SNL alum Fred Armisen. The actor reminisced about staying up late to watch David perform on the show in 1979, saying, "Watching him was, for me, a life-changing experience. He had these backup singers that were like choir singers from the future and a toy poodle with a TV monitor in his mouth." Watch the beautiful moment above now, and then listen to David's greatest hits.
