Halsey has "no one to smile for" and a whole lot to scream about. On Friday, the stunning 24-year-old singer released a new song, "Nightmare," and a raging video to accompany it. After teasing new music throughout her tour, Halsey's new song doesn't disappoint. With fired-up lyrics and an entirely female video crew, it's one that will leave you screaming to the beat. As the first release from her upcoming third studio album, Halsey sings about how much she's grown from the past.

"I've been polite but won't be caught dead, letting a man tell me what I should do in my bed / Keep my exes in check in my basement / Cause kindness is weakness, or worse, you're complacent / I could play nice or I could be a bully, I'm tired and angry, but somebody should be," she sings. "No, I ain't got nothing to smile about / I got no one to smile for, I waited a while for / A moment to say I don't owe you a goddamn thing."

The video features inspiring women like Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse, Debbie Harry of Blondie, and more. Prior to the release of the song, a fan tweeted at Halsey asking for an "angry anthem," and the singer blessed us all with the release of "Nightmare." Watch the bloody and fired-up video above.
