Here's Why You Already Know the Cast of Netflix's The Holiday Calendar

One of the Winter movies that's been melting our hearts lately is the sweet romantic comedy The Holiday Calendar. It focuses on a struggling photographer named Abby who works at an uninspiring mall gig where she takes Santa studio pictures. Although her best friend Josh has feelings for her, her eyes are set on the dreamy Dr. Ty Walker, who appears too perfect to be true. On top of this drama, her grandmother's magical Advent calendar seems to be uncannily predicting her dates with Ty. If you want those gooey Christmas feelings, look no further.

Kat Graham, who's best known for playing Bonnie the witch on The Vampire Diaries, takes on the lead role in The Holiday Calendar. Besides film and TV, you may know Graham from her music career — she's released two albums since 2015, and her hit songs including "Put Your Graffiti on Me" and "Sometimes."

Quincy (aka Quincy Taylor Brown) as Josh Barton

Quincy plays Abby's freelance photographer best friend Josh. R&B listeners may be familiar with his singles "Friends First" with French Montana and "Exotic" with G-Eazy. He also regularly appears on Fox's musical drama series Star, portraying Queen Latifah's neighbor.

Ethan Peck as Dr. Ty Walker

Ethan Peck charms in The Holiday Calendar as Abby's love interest, the dreamy Dr. Ty Walker. He's a seasoned TV actor, appearing in various small roles, such as Young Kelso on That '70s Show and David Russell's assistant on Gossip Girl. Those who grew up with ABC Family may also recognize him as Patrick Verona on the TV adaptation of 10 Things I Hate About You. If you're a Trekkie, you'll also know that he plays Spock on CBS's Star Trek: Discovery.

Ron Cephas Jones as Gramps Sutton

Ron Cephas Jones is Gramps Sutton, Abby's wise grandfather in The Holiday Calendar. If you've cried your way through This Is Us, you'll definitely know him for his powerful performance as Randall's biological father William.

Genelle Williams as Sarah Sutton

Abby has a supportive, practical sister named Sarah, who's played by Genelle Williams. The actress is known for her work on SyFy's Warehouse 13, in which she plays an innkeeper named Leena.
