Tom Hanks Stars in Yet Another Hotly Anticipated Adaptation

Cloud Atlas codirector Tom Tykwer has reteamed with Tom Hanks and Ben Whishaw for a very different kind of movie. A Hologram For the King features Hanks as a disillusioned businessman who goes to Saudi Arabia in hopes of landing a huge deal. Instead, he has an anxiety attack and lands in the care of a very beautiful doctor (Homeland's Sarita Choudhury). It's based on Dave Eggers's 2012 novel of the same name, one of several book-to-movie adaptations in 2016. The film looks beautiful, and it'll be out on April 22.
