As if telling the story of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s civil rights march in Alabama wasn't enough, creating Selma also afforded the opportunity to work alongside producer and actress Oprah Winfrey. David, in particular, was thrilled to come together with the "incredible" Oprah — who he also calls his "American mum"!
