Josh Gad Will Play Roger Ebert in an Upcoming Biopic

Well, this is fantastic casting: Josh Gad will play Roger Ebert in the upcoming film Russ & Roger. The Russ in the title is for Russ Meyer, a filmmaker known for his sexploitation films such as Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and with whom Ebert actually collaborated on films. (Ebert wrote the script for the sequel Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, which Meyer directed). The movie will depict their friendship and work in the '70s. And as if this movie couldn't already be interesting enough, Will Ferrell is playing Meyer.
