What the Magic Mike XXL Cast Said About Wrapping the Stripper Sequel

Magic Mike XXL has wrapped up its shooting schedule, and we have been along for the ride, perusing the pictures from the Georgia set and following the cast's social media accounts. Stars Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Adam Rodriguez, and even assistant director Steven Soderbergh shared a ton of pictures from the filming of the movie, both on and off the set. Steven Soderbergh, who is serving as cinematographer and assistant director this time around (under the name Peter Andrews) snapped the first picture from the set and got us all excited.

Channing Tatum shared this snap of his character's business on the first day of principal photography.

Channing Tatum showed off the abs of costar Michael Strahan, who was more than obliging.

Star Kevin Nash shared this shot of him and the guys — Gabriel Iglesias, Matt Bomer, Nash, Joe Manganiello, and Adam Rodriguez — hanging out in their truck.

Rodriguez posted a photo of his top-secret script when filming began.

Soderbergh showed off his hilariously doctored badge, joking, "Will somebody please fire this guy?"

New cast member tWitch posed with Channing Tatum, revealing his character's name, Malik, in the sequel.

Soderbergh tweeted, "Some dances may require eye protection . . ." Tell us more!

Sofia Vergara — who's dating star Joe Manganiello — posted this blurry but intriguing pic of Tatum, Kevin Nash, Manganiello, and Adam Rodriguez.

Soderbergh gave us a glimpse behind the scenes, tweeting, "Even the production office is exciting on this one!"

Soderbergh shared this on day one of production, noting that it's the "first setup."

Iglesias posted this hilarious of picture of Bomer and Nash invading his trailer.

Nash pulled costar Jada Pinkett Smith in for a selfie.

Nash marked the end of filming with this Instagram, sweetly captioning it, "With my boy Channing. I love this man one of the few people on this planet that get me. Thanks for having summer camp again. Real man, husband, daddy and friend. Nothing but love."

Soderbergh joked that the cast wrapped a day early, "as per the results of Matt Bomer's meditation."
