The Mighty Ducks Cast Reunited on Ice, and All We Can Say Is It's About Ducking Time

Once a Mighty Duck, always a Mighty Duck!

If you've already started quacking in your head, you'll definitely love what comes next. A few cast members of the 1992 iconic Disney hockey film The Mighty Ducks and its 1994 sequel, D2: The Mighty Ducks, reunited over the past weekend, and of course it happened on ice. On Sunday, Kenan Thompson, Vincent Larusso, Garette Ratliff Henson, Colombe Jacobsen-Derstine, and Danny Tamberelli took to the ice to join the Anaheim Ducks before a game during their 25th anniversary season. For those who might not know, the success of the Mighty Ducks franchise led to Disney's creation of the real-life pro hockey team in 1993, formerly known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

Even though they were sold in 2005 — and became the Anaheim Ducks — it's obvious that they're holding true to their Disney beginnings! Tamberelli posted several photos of the cast members in their bright green jerseys — just like their Mighty Ducks' uniform — which had their character names stitched in the back. The pictures and videos captured the group as they got some quality time on the ice and passed around a puck. It's safe to say they're still pretty slick on their skates!

"What a sweet day!! Thanks to the @anaheimducks for a great day reliving my #mightyducks season with some old friends! Photo cred by my lovely wife @katelyndetweiler," Tamberelli wrote on Instagram.

We're still not sure what the Ducks were doing as they were being filmed during their time in the rink, but according to the Anaheim Ducks' Twitter account, we'll be finding out soon. Is it too much to hope for a another movie?
