Ariana Grande Responded to Kanye West's Claim That She Used His Feud With Drake For Publicity

Update: After an exchange of tweets between Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus earlier in the week, Kanye West took to social media on Dec. 15 to share his own opinions. The 41-year-old rapper responded to Grande's original tweet, which indirectly referenced his feud with Drake. He claimed the "Thank U, Next" singer used his argument to promote her song, which weighed on his mental health.

Grande replied to West's accusation on Twitter that same day, writing, "With all due respect, I don't need to use anyone to promote anything. Period. I was making a comment ab what men were doing at the time vs. women. It was a joke which I understand now was probably insensitive. I apologize if I was in any way triggering and hope u feel well today."

Original Story: Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande just want everyone to get along.

In the midst of the internet being abuzz with . . . this . . . the singers took to social media ahead of the release of their brand-new singles on Thursday night to support each other via a sweet Twitter exchange. It all started with a tweet from Grande that referenced the current feud between Drake and Kanye West. "Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online rn but Miley and I dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y'all could please jus [sic] behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that'd be so sick thank u," she wrote.

Shortly after, Cyrus chimed in to support Grande's plea for peace and to plug her new song. She wrote, "Didn't they hear the news ?! War IS over ! Thank you , next!" Hours later, Grande dropped her single "Imagine," while Cyrus released her collaboration with Mark Ronson and Sean Ono Lennon, a cover of "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)."
