The Mummy Reboot Movie Trailer

The Mummy Trailer Will Leave You With More Than a Few Nightmares

You might remember the first few Mummy films as being a touch lighthearted thanks to the easy rapport between Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz, but it looks like the latest installment in the franchise is getting one terrifying facelift. Tom Cruise, Annabelle Wallis, Russell Crowe, and Courtney B. Vance star in the reboot about a malevolent ancient princess who is awakened from her tomb, wreaking havoc and terror across the world. The new mummy in question — played by Kingsman: The Secret Service's Sofia Boutella — is straight out of our nightmares. Another full-length trailer has been released, and along with being just as scary as the teaser, it hints that Cruise's character might be something other than human. The Mummy hits theaters on June 9.
