Grown-Up Griswolds: Meet the Cast of National Lampoon's Vacation Reboot
This week, Leslie Mann was cast in National Lampoon's reboot of its comedy franchise, Vacation, and it's not just fun because Mann is so great, it's fun because she's playing the grown-up version of Audrey, the female Griswold sibling. She joins a cast that includes other actors playing the Griswold family in their older years (including two original stars) and a few stars (including an Avenger!) as new characters. If you grew up watching the Lampoon movies, you should check out who's been cast in this Hollywood reboot!
Ed Helms
Helms will star as the grown-up Rusty Griswold, who was played in previous films by a different actor in each movie, including Anthony Michael Hall, Johnny Galecki, and Ethan Embry. The film will revolve around Rusty and his family.
Leslie Mann
Mann will play Audrey, Rusty's sister; Juliette Lewis once played the character in Christmas Vacation. Wait until you see who's playing her husband.
Chevy Chase
Chase will make a cameo as National Lampoon's original dad, Clark Griswold.
Beverly D'Angelo
D'Angelo will also cameo as Ellen, the Griswold matriarch.
Chris Hemsworth
Hemsworth will take a break from playing Thor to appear as Audrey's husband, anchorman Stone Crandall.
Charlie Day
Day will costar in the reboot as a river-rafting guide on the Griswold family's vacation.
Christina Applegate
Applegate will play Rusty's wife in the film.
