Tom Hiddleston Just Teased His Latest Project, and Fans Have FEELINGS

Tom Hiddleston really knows how to get the internet in a tizzy. After returning to Instagram after a year and a half's absence to officially announce Loki's return earlier this week, he once again took to social media on Wednesday to tease another project that's in the works. In a minute-long video, Tom is shown walking through a graffiti-covered underpass, dressed in a sharp suit. As he reaches the camera, he continues to stare just beyond it, a look of sadness and disbelief on his face. The word "Betrayal" then pops up on screen, our only clue as to what this is all about.

Well, spoiler alert: it's a play. According to the Evening Standard, Tom is set to return to the London stage in a new production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal as part of a series marking 10 years since the playwright's death. It didn't take long for fans to work out what the video was all about, but in the meantime, many of them had fun voicing their confusion, teasing Tom for "breaking the internet" and turning his sad face into a meme. Keep reading to see the video and for some of the best reactions.
