Rosewater Trailer

Watch the Trailer For Rosewater, Jon Stewart's Directorial Debut

TV host Jon Stewart isn't just an excellent pundit — lest you forget, Stewart acts, and now he's a director. Not only is Rosewater his directorial debut, but he also wrote and produced the film, which is based on real-life journalist Maziar Bahari, played by Gael García Bernal, as he reported on the Iranian elections in 2009 and was subsequently imprisoned for months. The preview gives you a look at the powerful story — and Bahari's life as a prisoner while he was being questioned and accused of being a spy. The film will show at TIFF and then be released on Nov. 7, so check out the trailer now.
