After seven thrilling seasons, we bid goodbye to Scandal this past April, but it warms our hearts to see that the cast is still close. On Monday night, Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope) and Tony Goldwyn (Fitz Grant) had a special reunion on Broadway. Washington is currently starring in the new play American Son, while Goldwyn is starring alongside Bryan Cranston in Network. During her night off, Washington decided to show support for her former costar and check out Goldwyn's performance.
"Last night we got to see @networkbway and it was AMAZING," Washington captioned a photo of her hanging out backstage with Goldwyn and Cranston. "It's bold & innovative & FUN. But also tremendously provocative & moving & important. @bryancranston @tonygoldwyn & @tatianamaslany are truly fantastic. Congrats to the entire company!!!!! So inspiring. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO."
To make matters even cuter, Goldwyn actually checked out Washington's play earlier this month, and couldn't resist raving about it on Instagram. "Once more in awe of my friend @kerrywashington! #AmericanSonPlay opened last night and the audience held its breath the entire time," Goldwyn gushed. "Her performance is mind-blowing. GO SEE THIS PLAY!!!" Any chance we can get Goldwyn and Washington to reunite for a play?
