The Theory of Everything Trailer

The Romantic and Inspirational Theory of Everything Trailer Might Make You Cry

We all know Stephen Hawking as the brilliant astrophysicist, and most of us are familiar with his current appearance — the 72-year-old suffers from a motor neuron disease that has kept him wheelchair-bound for most of his life. However, in the upcoming biopic The Theory of Everything, we get to see Hawking in a whole new light. Eddie Redmayne portrays the scientist in his younger years, when he was in grad school at Cambridge researching what would become major scientific breakthroughs — and falling in love with his future wife, Jane (Felicity Jones). The trailer is so sweeping, inspirational, and romantic that even if you have no interest in Hawking (or science, for that matter), you'll be transfixed. Just try to keep it together as Hawking is given two years to live but defies that and goes on to have a beautiful romance and family. The Theory of Everything opens Nov. 7, and you must watch the trailer now.
