The latest Star Wars film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, is positively packed with talent. There's Alden Ehrenreich as Han, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Tobias Beckett, Thandie Newton as Val, Paul Bettany as Dryden Vos, and joining this crew is lead female Emilia Clarke as Qi'ra, friend of Han Solo and somewhat of a mysterious character until the end of the film.

The Game of Thrones actress makes her Star Wars debut as a young girl living on the planet of Corellia, which has children mining for goods to trade for credits and flocked with Imperial stormtroopers. Qi'ra starts out as the childhood friend of Han Solo until they are separated leaving Corellia, leading them both on different paths before reconnecting later in the film under a tense situation.

Along with her role in Game of Thrones, Clarke also starred in the 2016 film Me Before You as Lou Clark. If you're not a fan of dragons or dramas, you might also know her as Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys or Evelyn in Dom Hemingway. Her latest project is a crime thriller, Above Suspicion, due out this year.

Though the movie is all about Han, we appreciate Clarke taking on the role of yet another strong woman. We can only hope to see more of her in future spinoffs to get more of her story.
