The award-winning actor released the music video on his YouTube channel on Dec. 15. Even through all the flashy outfits and vibrant dancing happening in the visual, Porter was intentional about delivering a powerful universal message for anyone watching. "Some people criticize the way you live," he sings. "But don't you apologize, or dare submit / Baby, the children's where the future is / See a change starts today, better wipe those tears away."

Porter first released the video exclusively on Facebook, noting that the message behind the song is "about choosing yourself" and that "choosing one's personal authenticity is the only way to live."
