The BTS and Snoop Dogg collaboration you've been waiting for is finally here, and it's all thanks to Benny Blanco! The artists dropped one of the biggest collaborations of the summer, "Bad Decisions," on Aug. 5. The uptempo, fun-filled, guitar-heavy track about making ill-advised choices with the person you love will be a perfect addition to every ARMY's summer playlist.

While the "Bad Decisions" music video, which was released alongside the single, doesn't physically feature BTS, they were there in spirit. Throughout the video, Blanco dresses up like "Dynamite"-era Jimin, makes glittery BTS posters, and even bakes a purple BTS cake in preparation for attending their concert. Of course, Blanco has his ARMY bomb in hand, proving that, even if he isn't a bonafide ARMY in real life, he's a big enough fan to have done some legit research on what preparing for a BTS concert (and fighting the traffic on the way to the venue) is really like.

Blanco — the producer behind hits like Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself," Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger," and Juice Wrld's "Graduation" — has been teasing this collaboration with the world's biggest boy band on Twitter since July 15, sharing comedic videos begging BTS's label, HYBE (in the form of Scooter Braun and Hitman Bang), if he can join the band. When Blanco finally pulled the curtain back to reveal what he has in the works, fans were thrilled to learn it was a long-teased BTS song with Snoop Dogg.

"Bad Decisions" will serve as the lead single off of Blanco's upcoming album, so it has major song-of-the-summer potential as the warm months of 2022 wind down. Check out the music video and lyrics below!

"Bad Decisions" Lyrics

INTRO (Snoop Dogg)
Radio station B-T-S-N-double O-P

VERSE 1 (Jungkook, Jimin)
No makeup on, I love that sh—
You're so damn beautiful, I swear you make me sick
I want your love, I want your name
Inside my heart, there's nothin' but a burning flame

PRE-CHORUS (V)
If you want my love
Come a little bit closer
Don't make me wait

CHORUS (Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, V)
Let's make some bad decisions
I want you, ooh, baby, all of the time
So give me all your kisses
I want you Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, baby, every night
And it feels like (Ooh, ah)
I can't seem to ever get you out of my mind
And it feels like (Ooh, ah)
I want you, ooh, baby, all of the time

VERSE 2 (Snoop Dogg, Jungkook)
Everybody see me lookin' fly (Oh, yeah)
And I think I know the reason why (Oh, yeah)
'Cause I got you right here by my side (Oh, yeah)
And I can't let you just walk away
If I ain't with ya, I'm not okay

Pre-Chorus (Jin, Snoop Dogg)
If you want my love (Yeah)
Come a little bit closer
Don't make me wait (Ooh)

CHORUS (Jimin, V, Jungkook, Jin, Snoop Dogg)
Let's make some bad decisions
I want you, ooh, baby, all of the time
So give me all your kisses (Kisses)
I want you Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, baby, every night (Every night)
And it feels like (Ooh, ah, yeah)
I can't seem to ever get you out of my mind
*And it feels like* (Ooh, ah)
*I want you, ooh, baby, all of the time*

VERSE 3 (Snoop Dogg)
Let's do things you always wanted
Have some fun and live your life
Help me waste a day and find a place
That we can face to face
Let me show you 'round my hood
There's bad meaning bad like bad meaning good
When it comes to rules, I break 'em

CHORUS (Jungkook, Jimin, V, Snoop Dogg)
Let's make some bad decisions
I want you, ooh, baby, all of the time
So give me (Give me) all your kisses (Kisses)
I want you Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, baby, every night
And it feels like (Ooh, yes, ah, yes)
I can't seem to ever get you out of my mind
And it feels like (Ooh, say what? Ah)
I want you, ooh, baby, all of the time (Ooh)

Which BTS Members Sing on Benny Blanco's "Bad Decisions"?

In Blanco's second video teasing "Bad Decisions," in which the producer video-chatted with members of BTS, only the band's vocal line — Jungkook, Jimin, V, and Jin — appeared in the video, leading ARMYs to wonder whether the entire band would feature on "Bad Decisions" or only the vocal line. Historically speaking, it could go either way.

When BTS collabed with Coldplay, for example, the entire group featured on the English band's song, "My Universe." But when BTS teamed up with Steve Aoki on "Waste It on Me," only Jungkook and RM appeared on the track. Same with Lauv's "Who," on which only Jimin and Jungkook sang. Similarly, only Suga, J-Hope, and Jungkook appeared on Jason Derulo's "Savage Love."

According to Blanco's statement about the release (via NME), the only features the vocal line. "I'm still pinching myself," Blanco said. "I can't believe I have a song coming out with Jin, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook of BTS and Snoop Dogg. It doesn't even feel real!"

Snoop Dogg's Quotes About Collaborating With BTS on "Bad Decisions"

Snoop teased the possibility of teaming up with BTS in January via a Clubhouse room when he said, "I got a group named BTS that's waiting on me to do a song with them right now." On March 25, The A.V. Club reported that Snoop Dogg finally confirmed the collab was happening. "The BTS experience you keep talking about. I'm going to let them tell you about it. It's official like a referee with a whistle," he said. ". . . I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it's always about, bringing our worlds together."

Though Snoop already has connections to the K-pop world through previous collaborations with Girls Generation, 2NE1, and Psy, the rapper admitted he wasn't aware of how big BTS is and had to get some insight from his nephew. "[He] showed me five motherf*ckers who look like the Asian New Edition," Snoop told The A.V. Club. "I said okay."

BTS also shares ties with Snoop Dogg's hip-hop world, as member RM worked with the rapper's longtime collaborator Warren G on their 2015 single "P.D.D." With those connections already in place, Snoop and BTS are sure to make magic together, especially with megaproducer Benny Blanco leading the charge.
