Jennifer Lopez Speaks About Super Bowl Halftime Show
J Lo Teased That "Some Great Guests" Will Join Her and Shakira For the Super Bowl Halftime Show
Jennifer Lopez sat down with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night to speak about 2019 — a year that will be referred to as "The Year of J Lo" from here on out. They kicked off the interview speaking about everything J Lo achieved this year, and to say she's has been one busy woman is a vast understatement.
If you need a quick refresher, "The Year of J Lo" included her engagement, turning 50, and the release of a small movie called Hustlers. Plus, she also did a sold-out tour and was asked to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Shakira. "It's been the most spectacular, crazy, amazing, overwhelming, scary, beautiful, year of my life," she said. And there's no sign of slowing down either, with J Lo set to host Saturday Night Live in January 2020.
On the Super Bowl halftime show — which will take place in Miami — J Lo didn't try to play it cool. She explained that the halftime is 29 minutes exactly (no more, no less), and of that time, the halftime show itself will take anywhere from 12 to 14 minutes to perform. "We're probably going to split that between us and then have some great guests hopefully," she said.
