John Legend may be known for his romantic love songs, but his new single proves that the 41-year-old crooner knows it takes more than pretty words to make a relationship work. Titled "Actions," the song samples a classic 1999 track by Dr. Dre, "The Next Episode" featuring Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, and the late Nate Dogg. The lyrics are all about wanting to show appreciation for a loved one through actions and not words, though admittedly Legend is very good at using his words.

The singer actually gave fans a taste of the song on March 18, during his virtual concert for the ongoing #TogetherAtHome series in partnership with the World Health Organization. "Everybody's home, you need stuff, you need music, you need TV, you need films. You need stuff to entertain you, so I'm going to put some music out," he said during on the live stream. Well, he delivered! Listen to "Actions," above.
