Finally, the Mother Monster is back — and she's already doing things that the other girls just can't do. Almost a year after Lady Gaga teased fans about being "pregnant" with a new album, the artist has released the first single off her highly anticipated follow-up album to 2016's Joanne. Gaga first announced the release of "Stupid Love" on Feb. 25 with a Twitter post showcasing cover art that gave us MySpace profile banner vibes in the best possible way. She then dropped a first look and two dramatic teasers for the music video, which definitely had to be inspired by the Power Rangers.
And finally, the full "Stupid Love" video, which dropped at midnight on Feb. 28, has graced us with the intergalactic outfits and glam fight scene that we didn't know we needed, nay, deserved. Throughout the video, Gaga serves us everything from high-energy dance moves to impassioned conflict resolution, and reader, we are here for it. Meanwhile, the song itself is an '80s-inspired dance-pop bop that has absolutely secured its spot on our upcoming Summer playlists.
It feels like it's been ages since we've seen the A Star Is Born actress go to this level of Gaga, and she's pulling out all the stops! Watch the full "Stupid Love" video above.
