7 Mockingjay — Part 2 Details That Might Make the Movie the Best in the Series

It's almost like all the biggest action has been saved for the final movie (great news if you were underwhelmed by Mockingjay — Part 1). Not only does the full trailer show Katniss kicking butt, the movie is going to have a lot of her finally getting into the field. Director Francis Lawrence confirmed, "This is where Katniss gets back into action. She's finally going after Snow, and we get some real battle footage. It's exciting stuff."

As revealed in the new teaser and fierce new poster, Katniss has a cool red suit for all that ass-kicking she's lined up to do. It could just be for promotion, but come on — that outfit is way too badass for her not to fight in it.

Mockingjay — Part 1 ends just after a brainwashed Peeta attacks Katniss. As we've seen in the pictures, Peeta is back to normal in Part 2, and his journey will be a big part of the film. "It's a long road to recovery," Josh Hutcherson said. "We pick Peeta up inside [District] 13. He went through a lot. To turn him into a psychotic weapon against Katniss. They're trying to rehab him to use him as a good guy."

Like in Part 1, Liam Hemsworth's character, Gale, will get the focus he so deserves. In the panel, Hemsworth said, "Gale's been on the sidelines watching the fight happen, and he's finally in the mix and a part of the military operations. He becomes a big part of the plan. He teams up with Beetee, and they devise a few ways to ambush and trap the enemy . . . Josh [Hutcherson] and I have a great scene in it."

A lot happens with Prim in the final book, and that's also going to translate to us seeing a lot of her in the last film. What's more, she'll be Katniss's rock. At the panel, star Willow Shields said, "[Katniss]'s entire goal is to save Prim, and Prim starts to be there for Katniss more than Katniss is there for her, in a way. Prim is really grown up and is a stronger character and is taking care of Katniss, more mentally than physically."

Lawrence wouldn't reveal the scene (and possibly spoil the movie), but on the panel, she confessed that her favorite scene in any of The Hunger Games movies happens in Part 2. Is it Katniss finally getting her revenge? A crazy-emotional scene? We can't wait to find out.

Director Francis Lawrence revealed that the Mockingjay — Part 2 ending will follow the books when he said, "We made the books," adding, "I think everybody here who loves the end of the last book is going to love the end of this last movie. I think you guys are going to be happy."
