What happens: Hank Pym takes his daughter, Hope, down to his lab. While the whole length of the movie he's been fighting against her getting into the Ant-Man suit to complete the dangerous mission herself, he has a change of heart. He shows her an advanced prototype of a suit that he and her late mother, Janet (aka the Wasp), were working on.
What it could mean: In the comics, Hope becomes a supervillain known as Red Queen, but the movies could be taking her character in a different direction. It's unlikely that Marvel would open this door and not go through it, so you can count on seeing Hope again — probably in that suit, and maybe as the new incarnation of her mother's alter ego, the Wasp.
