This 2004 thriller is based on a true story about an American couple who gets left behind on a dive trip in the middle of the ocean. Not only do they have to survive the sharks closing in on them, but also the frigid water and lack of food. It ditches over-the-top special effects for realistic shots of real sharks, which only further adds to the terror.
