Every Superhero You Can Expect to See in the Untitled Fourth Avengers Film

Warning: In order to discuss the future, we'll have to spoil Avengers: Infinity War.

No, we still haven't come to terms with the fact that Avengers: Infinity War ends in devastation. We refuse to accept that half the characters turn to dust after Thanos collects all the Infinity Stones. That's why we're putting on our blinders and looking to the future.

Sure, we can come up with all kinds of theories for how they will reverse that devastating ending, but let's instead focus on what we do have. After all, quite a few characters survive the film, and we know they'll go on to fight Thanos in Avengers 4.

We've taken it upon ourselves to cobble together the cast of Avengers 4. While Marvel hasn't made any confirmations pertaining to who is and isn't appearing, we can assume that Infinity War's survivors will continue on. Then there are a few other additions we can make based on existing information and other logical intel. Granted, we hope the vaporized heroes return (and feel like they probably will), but for the time being, we're leaving them out. So, without further ado, here's everyone else we can expect to see in Avengers 4.

Captain America, aka Steve Rogers

Seeing as Chris Evans has talked about Avengers 4 (and the fact that he's done with Marvel after that film), we can pretty much guarantee he's in.

Iron Man, aka Tony Stark

At the Infinity War press conference, Robert Downey Jr. hinted that he'd survive the third film and mentioned filming the fourth. We're pretty sure he'll be back.

Black Widow, aka Natasha Romanoff

Black Widow survives Thanos's universe-shattering snap, so we're assuming she's definitely going in for round four.

Thor

Thor is one of the most important heroes in Infinity War, and we imagine the team will need his godly powers in the fourth film. Since he's still alive, we're counting him in.

Hulk, aka Bruce Banner

While the Hulk doesn't come out at all after his encounter with Thanos at the beginning of Infinity War, we're counting on his green fists for round four. Bruce is still alive, after all.

Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers

Before he evaporates to dust, Nick Fury calls Captain Marvel in the postcredits scene for Infinity War. Seems like a pretty good indicator that her powers are needed to defeat Thanos.

Hawkeye, aka Clint Barton

Hawkeye is noticeably absent from Infinity War, but the heroes do mention him in passing. With half the universe at stake, chances are high that he springs into action.

War Machine, aka Don Cheadle

War Machine survives Thanos's snap in Infinity War, so we're putting him down on the list.

Okoye

Though Okoye watches Black Panther evaporate before her very eyes, she manages to survive Infinity War. We imagine she'll want to have a word or two with Thanos.

Rocket

Rocket is the only member from the Guardians of the Galaxy who makes it. Let's count him in.

Nebula

Nebula does not get vaporized, leaving her stranded on the planet Titan with Tony Stark.

Ant-Man, aka Scott Lang

Yeah, Ant-Man misses all the Infinity War action because he's on house arrest. We're guessing this won't be the case next time.

The Wasp, aka Hope Van Dyke

If Ant-Man is in Avengers 4, we're banking on the Wasp joining in, too!

Shuri

While we don't know for sure that Shuri survived Thanos's snap, we don't see her die. That's a good indicator that she's probably alive. We'll take it.

Wong

Much like Shuri, we don't see Wong die. We think that means he's ready for the next fight.
