Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, and More: Here's Everyone Who Is on Board For Top Gun 2

We're getting even closer to the Top Gun sequel! The film, which is titled Top Gun: Maverick, won't hit theaters until June 26, 2020, but we already have the first look. During San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance to unveil the very first trailer, which shows his character returning to the skies and taking a whole new set of trainees under his wing. While Cruise and Val Kilmer are set to reprise their roles from the original movie, the film has been keeping the rest of the cast's roles under wraps. Tom Cruise as Maverick

The actor is reprising his role as pilot Maverick.

Miles Teller as Bradley Bradshaw

Teller will be playing the son of Anthony Edwards's character, Goose, who was Maverick's wingman.

Val Kilmer as Iceman

Kilmer will reprise his role as Maverick's rival pilot, Iceman.

Jennifer Connelly

Cruise confirmed that Connelly will be joining the sequel, though he didn't give any details as to who she'll be playing. "When you see the film, you'll see why she's perfect for it," the actor told Entertainment Tonight. "She has such a very talented, very vibrant, and, you know, see we're just going to have a great cast."

Glen Powell

After previously auditioning for the role of Goose's son, the Set It Up actor has joined the cast in an undisclosed role.

Charles Parnell

The A Million Little Pieces actor will play an admiral.

Jon Hamm

The former Mad Men star has an undisclosed role in the film.

Ed Harris

The Westworld actor will appear in the film, but it's unknown who he will be playing.

Monica Barbaro

The actress, who recently appeared on ABC's Splitting Up Together, is reportedly playing a pilot who will serve as Teller's love interest in the movie.
