Bombshell: Check Out the Full Cast For the Fox News Movie

The women of Fox News are getting the Hollywood treatment in the highly anticipated film Bombshell. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will tell the story of the women who came together to bring down the "toxic male culture of the news network and chief Roger Ailes."

Ailes ran Fox News from 1996 until he was forced to resign in 2016, after multiple women came forward with claims of sexual misconduct — including Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson, whose careers he helped to launch. The film is described as an ensemble pic about those involved during Ailes's reign at Fox News, with other characters including fired host Bill O'Reilly, media mogul Rupert Murdoch, and former anchor Greta Van Susteren. John Lithgow as Roger Ailes

Lithgow is set to play Roger Ailes. The 72-year-old actor will portray the disgraced media mogul, who helped launch the careers of Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly and was accused of sexual harassment by them and others before his death in 2017.

Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson

Kidman is in talks to play former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson. She was the first woman to publicly file a lawsuit against Ailes claiming sexual harassment. After that, dozens of other women came forward, including Megyn Kelly.

Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly

Not only is Theron producing the film, but she's also set to play former Fox host Megyn Kelly. In a 2017 interview with Business Insider, Kelly came forward and revealed Ailes "harassed" her early on during her time at the network..

Margot Robbie as Unknown

Robbie is reportedly in talks to play an associate producer at Fox News during Ailes's time as CEO.
