Ariana Grande Got Her First Wives Club Together to Perform "Thank U, Next" on Ellen

Ariana Grande may be singing "Thank U, Next" to her exes, but her First Wives Club posse is staying strong. On Wednesday, the 25-year-old singer gave an emotional performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and it looks like she got more than a little inspiration from the 1996 film.

The singer and her friends Victoria Monét and Tayla Parx used all-white suits and coordinated dance moves to pay homage to the movie's iconic "You Don't Own Me" scene. In a photo Grande shared, she tagged herself and each woman as a First Wives Club actress. Who's Grande, you may wonder? The incomparable Goldie Hawn, of course. Not even a stumble can bring Grande down when she's channeling a '90s queen. Seems more than appropriate that her self-love anthem finds the perfect partner in a badass flick about girl power. Watch her Ellen performance above, and listen for the sweet moment when she sings about her mom.
